He is survived by : his mother Shelby Carpenter Sherman; his children, Sabrina Sloat (Robert) of Cornelia, Steven Sherman of Cleveland, Shawn Sherman (Shea) of Sautee and Samantha Sherman of Tennessee; his siblings, Denise Sherman of Cleveland and Jerry Sherman (Sandy) of Indiana; and his grandchildren, Ian Sloat and Maddox Sherman.
