With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edsel Nix of Cleveland, Georgia, who passed away on June 4, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ollie T. Nix and Ida Hulsey Nix; and his siblings, Everett, Emmitt, Ernest, Eldon, Elmer, Claudia Nix Martin and Cathelene Nix Rieker.

He is survived by : his wife Audrey Shuler Nix; his children, Edwin (Linda Thomason Nix) and Ellen (Billy Palmer); his grandchildren, Eric, Amanda Nix, Nick and Mereideth Palmer; and his great grandchildren, Adison Nix, Cash Palmer and Braxton Palmer. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
