We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2019, at the age of 70, Leonard Phillips (Cleveland, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Wayne K. Phillips and Helene Bolden Phillips; and his wife Shirley Hamby Phillips of Florida. He is survived by : his children, Michele Phillips (Duanne Blackburn) of Cleveland and Denise Tannery of Florida; his siblings, Wayne Phillips (Tina) of Oklahoma and Connie Phillips DeBruen of Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Kaleb Gouse, Kirsten Ciotti and Travis Patterson; and his pet Emma.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Jesus n Jeans or to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy at donate.appalachiantrail.org.
