We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2020, at the age of 95, Roy Whitfield of Cleveland, Georgia, born in Dahlonega, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Whitfield and Eva Mae Evans Whitfield; his wife Ruth Maxine Crow Whitfield; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Ann Dyer Whitfield; and his sister Ethelene Stewart.

He is survived by : his children, Barbara Judd, Michael David Whitfield (Patsy) and William Benson Whitfield. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Due to the pandemic the family will hold a private graveside service 11a. m. Friday July 3, 2020 at the Alta Vista Cemetery with Rev. Maxey Ladd officiating.
