He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Skipper and Queenie Pipkin Skipper. He is survived by: his wife Jane Godfrey Skipper of Cochran; his children, Pam Skipper Mills of Douglasville and Owen Skipper of Suches; his grandchildren, Tori Mills, Kati Mills, Crystal Skipper and Hannah Skipper; his sisters, Mavis Skipper Salinas, Gail Skipper Smith (Gary) of Cochran and Myrtice Skipper Bass of Macon; his brother-in-law Billy Ray Godfrey of Cochran; and his siblings' children, Kerri Smith Rogers, Kiley Smith and Don Bass. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the donor's church or charity of choice.
