He was predeceased by: his mother Marlane King Gazaway; and his grandparents, Sam (Johnny) and Dorothy King. He is survived by: his children, Hunter Gazaway (Brandi) of Rocky Face, Logan Gazaway of Cohutta and Siera Gazaway of Rocky Face; his grandchildren, Addilynn and Sutton Gazaway; his daughters, Ciera of Rocky Face, GA and Chloe Gazaway of Cleveland, TN; his sister Tanya Gilligan (Dan) of Cohutta, GA; his father Craig Gazaway of Ringgold, GA; and his godparents, Doyle and Kaye Gazaway of Cohutta, GA. He is also survived by the many aunts, uncles & cousins.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home (2801 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA 30721).
