It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Warren Chapman of Colbert, Georgia, born in Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on October 14, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Sarge Chapman and Mildred Hopkins Abercrombie; and his siblings, Charles Chapman and Barbara Abercrombie. He is survived by : his wife Athena Chapman of Colbert; his daughter Stacy Chapman of Gainesville; his granddaughter Lily Dunagan of Flowery Branch; his adoptive sons, Jeremy, Dennis Roper and David Arroway; and his siblings, Alan Chapman of Duluth, William Abercrombie of Gainesville and Jackie Mashburn of Oakwood. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, along with many beloved friends.
