It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Joseph Allen of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tilton Allen and Minnie Cecelia Giglio; his wife Betty Sue Thompson Allen; his siblings, John Tilton Allen, Jr., Julius Marvin Allen, Norman Divino Allen, Bessie Allen Parker and Frances Allen Jackson Sams; and his great grandchild Brick Michael Campbell.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lynne Allen Tate and Janet Leigh Van Zant of Forest City, IA; his grandchildren, Lindsey Rae Campbell of Chattanooga, TN, Martha Grayson Moss (Wade) of Nashville, TN and Allen Michael Tate (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Beau Michael Campbell, Allen Lee Tate, Anthony Joseph Tate and Margaret Thompson Moss.
