He is survived by: his children, Baseball and Football; his wife Rebecca "Becky" Newman Efurd of Columbus, GA; his children, Mendy Williams (Chris) of Fortson, GA and Mark Efurd (Kerry) of Hoover, AL; his grandchildren, Zack Williams, Payton Williams and Avery Efurd; his brothers, Edward Dean Efurd of Phenix City, AL and Dennis Ray Efurd (Joyce) of Cottonwood, AL; his sister-in-law Connie Goodman (Roy) of Columbus, GA; his nieces and nephews, Diane Grantham (David), Terry Efurd (Leanne), Denise Whitfield (Wes), Kelli Whitehurst (Jason), Richard Kelso (Joey) and Bryan Efurd (Christy); and also Bessie Merle Brown Efurd.
