He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donna Redden "Peaches" and Eddie Jernigan. He is survived by: his wife Carol Elaine Perkins Jernigan; his sons, James Redden and Chuckie Redden; his brothers, Jeff Redden, Chuck Redden and Joseph Parrish "Jody"; and his stepchildren, Jesse Jernigan, Steven Jernigan and Sylvia Jernigan.
