He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Orson Maulsby, Jr. and Laura Nell Maulsby; his sister Suzanne Luker; and his brother-in-law Max Luker of Aniston, Alabama.. He is survived by: his wife Shari Maulsby; his granddaughter Hayley Maulsby; his children, Dee Maulsby and Joy Dillow (Tony); his grandchildren, Jack, Will, Braiden and Chris; his son Gilbert Maulsby (Susie); his grandchildren, Lexy, Lily and Madi; his son Tim Maulsby (Rebekah); his grandchildren, Ocean, Eila and Ruah; his son Jason Sheley (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Camden, Caylee and Carter; his son Brandon Sheley; his sister Martha Greene (Randy); and his close friend Rusty. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907).
