He was predeceased by: his parent Fred Melvin Phillips, Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Eleanor Jones Phillips; his wife Beverly Jones of Columbus, GA; his children, Jennifer Risch (Jeremy) of Pontiac, MI, Kelli Jones, Lyndsey Jones and Darrell Frith of Cumming, GA; and his siblings, Carol Love (Terry) and Melvin Phillips of Opelika, AL. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
