He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Mae Christian; his sister Elizabeth Hicks; and his grandson Chris Brown. He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Christian of Columbus, GA and Susan Shavers (Buddy) of Waco, TX; his sister Caroline Christian of Columbus, GA; his great grandchildren, Whitley Mae, Carley, Brantly, Charlie Jane Fussell, Jonathon Smith, Mattie Berry, Noah Berry, Josh Granger, Krysten, Nathan and Bryson Shavers; his nieces and nephews, Nancy O'Malley, Maureen Thomas, Julie Hicks, Pastor Pat O'Malley and Robert Hicks; and also, Jason Fussell, Melanie Fussell of Columbus, GA, Chuck Shavers of Waco, TX and Kimberly Granger of Waco, TX. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
