He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Luther Horn Wolff, Sr. and Mary Will Wolff; his grandmother Giles; his son Luke; his close friends, Jimmy Sikes, Butch Cochran, Karen, Zimbabwe, Mexico and Spanish; his daughter Courtney Wolff; his siblings, Dr. William Anderson Wolff (Nancy) and Mary Louise Wolff; his wife Karen Hobbs Wolff; his children, Luther Horn Wolff III (Avery) and Jessica Giles Wolff (Jeremy Martinez); his brother Dr. Bruce Giles Wolff (Vikki); his former wife Norma Tinnell Wolff; his grandchildren, Lucas Wolff (Mary), Levi Wolff, Graham Wolff, Stewart Wolff, Esther Wolff, Martinez, Valentine Martinez and Louisa Wolff-Martinez; and his uncle Butch. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, the family will hold a private service.

In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for any donations made to the John B. Amos Cancer Center or the Harris County Humane Society.
