Rice of Columbus, Georgia, born in Malvern, Alabama, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Andrew Hall and Jimmie Hall Campbell; her husband Walter L. Rice, Jr.; her children, Deborah Ann Rice, Walter L Rice, III, Jane Crisp (Donald) and Patti Cook (Barry); her daughter-in-law Polly Rice Columbus; and her great grandchildren, DiDe Irvin (Robert), Tracy McDaniel (Lee), Frank Cook (Erin), Parker Rice, Carter Rice, Gilliam Irvin, Madeline-Jane Irvin, Meghan Laughter (Seth), Emma McDaniel and Lilly McDaniel.
