It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Obie Nolan Frost of Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Selma Powell Frost and William Taft Frost; his spouse Jean Gainey Frost; and his son Richard Frost. He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Frost Horne; his stepsons, Randell Foster and Greg Foster (Dana); his grandchildren, Clayton Horne, Mandi Horne, Laurie Skibbe (Ryan) and Bailey McCammon; his siblings, Louise Frost Moats of Anniston, Pam Frost Goff of Mooreville, MS and Jackie Frost (Kay); his sister-in-law Juvelle Frost; and his great grandchildren, Harmony and Harper.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary (4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
