She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Walter Gentry and May Jarmin Gentry; her husband Marvin "Sid" Bruce; and her siblings, Marian Gentry and John Gentry.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Lynn Tatom (Rick), Teresa Anne Irvin (Jon) and David Robert Bruce; and her sister Angela Williams. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home (4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Columbus (4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907). A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at the Parkhill Cemetery (4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907).
