He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Weiss and Evelyn S. Weiss (Dudley); his wife Jessie S. Weiss (Eiland); and his son William Weiss. He is survived by: his children, Robert W. J. Weiss, June D. Ivey of Opelika, AL and Mary Helen Jarrell; and his granddaughter Veronica E. Weiss (Phenix City Al). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory (3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery (553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856).
