It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirlene Walton Conner (Columbus, Georgia), who passed away on July 11, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Otis Crawford and Minnie Lee Crawford; her significant other Sam E. Walker; her children, Tony Conner of Victoria, VA, Edward J. Walker (Janett), Regina Davis (Melvin), Tonja Mathews (Mitch), Yonka Cook (Freddie) and Tracy Walker; her siblings, Melvin Blanton (Gertrude), Elvin Blanton (Shirlene), Jerry Blanton, Jr. (Roberta), Lummie Lee Dent (Doris), Corneail McCray (Terry), Christine Peters and Brenda Williams (Calvin); her uncle Lucious C. Walton; her friends, Betty Lee Alexander, Annie Holmes, Dorothy Lovette and Wanda Allen; and also Jerry Blanton. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
