It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Smith of Comer, Georgia, born in Carlton, Georgia, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Cody Keys Smith and Maude Mathews Smith; and his daughter Kathy Tune. He is survived by : his wife Frances Dean Smith; his daughter Tracy English (David); his sister Mauline Drew; his grandchildren, Abby, Katie, Isaac English and Samuel Crawford; and his son-in-law Larry Tune.
