He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Grogan Ivey; his son Marshall Hogan Ivey, II; his parents, Ira Ivey and Maude Wright Ivey; and his siblings, Broughton (Frances), Thomas, Bernice Minter (Byron) and Margaret Glass (George).
He is survived by: his daughter Emily Eckerle (Robert); his granddaughter Tara Burns (Knox); his great grandchild Ansley Burns; his daughter-in-law Judy Lamb Ivey; his grandson Brian Ivey (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Jared and Justin Ivey; his great great grandchildren, Noah and Elijah; his granddaughter Kerry Klima (Shane); and his great grandchild Jackson.
Because of COVID 19, a private service for the immediate family will be held at the Mausoleum at Scot Ward Funeral Services.
