She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry E. Kroeger and Catherine Richardville Kroeger; her husband Chester Thorne; her children, Steven Thorne, Judith Callahan, Chester Thorne II and W. Kathryn Thorne; and her siblings, Henry Kroeger and Marjorie Dasch.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Wright of Conyers, GA, Jacqueline Lukac of Roscoe, IL, David Thorne of Murphy, NC, Debra Simpson of Monticello, IN, Thomas Thorne of Surprise, AZ and Victor Thorne of Reno, NV.; and her siblings, Bernard Kroeger of Vincennes, IN, Marietta Belcher of Escondido, IA, Phyllis Grothaus of Cedar Lake, IN and Donna Almy of Vincennes, IN.. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, funeral services will be conducted for her family in private.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Old Cathedral or the donor's charity of choice.
