He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Newton Sheriff and Nellie Elizabeth Sheriff. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Phillips Sheriff; his children, Jeffrey Glenn Sheriff of Acworth, GA, Robin Sheriff Smith (George) and Tracey Guy (Terry Palmer) of Panacea, Florida.; his grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Dale), Ashley Sheriff Boyd (Wesley), Katherine Sheriff Wilhelm (Vadim), Cpt. Jordan Brice Smith (Samantha), Robert Harrell Guy III (Morgan), Taylor Guy, Graham Sheriff and Melanie Sheriff; and his sister Brothers.

Due to concerns of seasonal flu and Covid, the family suggest masks be worn.
