He is survived by: his son Matthew Scott Peters (Jessica Bowman Peters) of Waycross; his siblings, William D. Peters (Margaret E.) of Douglasville and Bessie R. Williams (Joe) of Abbeville; his mother-in-law Nettie C. Lewis of Cordele; his brother-in-law Guy Barry of Blanch, N. C.; and his grandchildren, Lily Grace Peters, William James Peters, Ella Kate Peters and Judah Clinton Peters. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
