Bernice Burton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Burton (Cordele, Georgia), who passed away on March 11, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Mixon and Minnie Mae Tippett Mixon; her son Roger S. Burton; her siblings, Bobby "Bud" Mixon and Arcelia Mixon Tidings; and her granddaughter Shelley Marie Burton.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Grant (Lin) of Cordele, Cecil Lloyd Burton (Sandra) of Anderson City and Nina Burton Hall of Dublin; and her grandchildren, Bill Grant, Margaret Ann Funk, Shawn Burton, Brett Samuel Hall and Kayla Hall. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
