He is survived by: his wife Charlene Poole Kilgore; his sons, Chris Chisenhall of Cordele, Charles Poole of Cordele, Bryan Poole of Cordele and Carl "Bud" Kilgore (Tammy Of Pitts); his mother Betty Jean Stone of Cordele; his wife James Kilgore of Cordele; his sisters, Stella Gee of Cordele, Susan Cain (Grant) of Jesup and Virginia Foote of Tennessee; and also Lisa Kilgore of Cordele. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
