He was predeceased by: his parent Elijah Clark Henderson, Sr.; his wife Delores Jacobs Henderson; and his sisters, Merle Bishop, Audrey Wall, Ruth Ann Peterson and Linda Henderson.
He is survived by: his parent Louise Beatrice Harris Henderson; his children, Allan Henderson of Hawkinsville, Denise H. Smith (Pete) of Cordele and Steve Henderson of Cordele; his siblings, Charles Zack Henderson and Jeanette Bolton; his grandchildren, Jesse Smith, Austin Henderson and Ashley Henderson; and his great grandchild Emma Straka.
They would also like to ask that memorial donations be made to Pruitthealth Hospice, 708 East 16th Avenue, Cordele, GA 31015.
