He is survived by: his parent Gladys Rathburn Maxon; his grandchildren, Lynn Garten, Mac Cook, Robert Holmes, Tammy Maxon, Michael Maxon, Elizabeth Walls and Dennis Maxon; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Fincher, Alice Faye Chamblee and Jean Mims. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
