She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Rufus Barrow and Myrtle Lee Aultman Barrow; her husband James L. "Sonny" Spring; her daughter Becky Smoak; and her sister Elaine Roche.

She is survived by: her children, Terry Smoak (Tammy) of Cordele, Joey Spring (Haley) of Savannah and Sherri Ward of Atlanta; and her grandchildren, Carie Parks, Belinda Mayberry, Amanda Smoak, Heather Lank, Lily Spring, Lucy Spring, Rusty Harrison and Jessica Sifford. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
