He was predeceased by: his siblings, Helen Poole, Royal Cook, Charles Cook and Betty Pyrz. He is survived by: his wife Joelyn Stripling Cook of Cordele; his siblings, Jimmy Cook (Judy) of Bainbridge, Larry Cook (Katherine) of Cairo and Becky Cook Kelley of Las Vegas; and his grandchildren, Thomas George Parker, Sarah Paige Parker, Caroline Maggie Echols and Rachel Elisabeth Echols. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
