He is survived by: his wife Gladys Janette Oland Moore of Cordele; his children, Fred Moore (Patricia) of Cordele, Walt Moore, III (Billie) of Maryland, Bobbie Moore of Cordele, Paula Moore of West Virginia and Mandy Vanmetter (Chad) of West Virginia; his siblings, Alan Moore (Janet) of West Virginia, Gloria Ramsey of West Virginia and Kay Williams (Elmer) of West Virginia; and his grandchildren, Davey, Ashley, Eric, Jenna, Alieyn and Fred Jr.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
