She was predeceased by: her parents, E. O. Benson and Ann Piland Benson; her husband Richard M. Williams; and her brother Jack Piland Benson. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Stone (Craig), Richard Williams Jr. (Dee) and Patricia Hudgins (Dixon); her grandchildren, Carter Williams Stone, John Craig "Buster" Stone Jr. and Richard "Mo" Williams III (Robyn); her great grandchildren, Letti Kate, Brooklyn and Chelsea Williams Pierce (Kevin); her sister Dotsy Benson McGown (Mike); her sister-in-law June Strickland Benson; and also, Evie, Grayson, Beckett, Leigh Ann Pridgen (Ben), Lucy, Lawson, Dotsy, AC Whelchel (Kellie) and Gencie.
