She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Rudolph Williams and Nina Johnson Williams; her husband William Pitts Sawyer, Sr.; her son William "Bill" Pitts Sawyer, Jr.; her brother Oscar; and her sister-in-law Janet Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Hughes (Jimmy) of Cordele; her daughter-in-law Fran Carter Sawyer of Cordele; her siblings, John Albert Williams (Peggie) of Perry, Pauline Reeves and Oglethorpe; her grandchildren, Brian Sawyer (Katie), Lesli Hughes Nelson (Brian), Rebecca Sawyer Stewart (Bryan), Jim Hughes (Alison) and Shelby Hughes; and her great grandchildren, Ava Nelson, Mac Nelson, Kate Nelson, Harper Nelson, Kennedy Sawyer, Camille Sawyer, James Hughes, William Hughes, Sawyer Stewart, Abbie Stewart and Brynn Stewart. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
