He was predeceased by: his son Jessie Carl Murray; and his sisters, Eva Jordan and Luenell Reed. He is survived by: his wife Diane "Dee" Murray; his children, Lisa Gilliam of Cordele, Jim Murray, Jr. of Leesburg and Amanda Cofield (Justin) of Tifton; and his grandchildren, Dalton Gilliam, Dakota Gilliam, Savanna Murray, Flint Murray, Rhett Cofield and Pate Cofield. He is also survived by husband, father and grandfather.
