She was predeceased by: her husband William Ben Ruis; and her parent Charley Edward Smith. She is survived by: her parent Myrtle Briley Smith. She is also survived by her two sons and their wives, Billy and Betty Ruis and Charles and Barbara Ruis, all of Cordele; five grandchidren, Charla R. Culpepper, LeAnn R. Lee, Brandi R. Sawyer, John Bodrey and Chris Bodrey; and five great-grandchildren.
