He is survived by: his children, Royce Ellerbee of Ashburn, David Ellerbee of Jesup and Dianne Dryer of Sylvester; his brother Wade Thomaston (Wynelle) of Dothan; and his grandchildren, Freddy Beasley (Kris) of Cordele, Hope Manley (Greg) of Poulan and Kristy Brady (Buck) of Wigham. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
