He is survived by: his parents, Forrest Melvin Whitehead and Leila Elizabeth Adams Whitehead; his wife Debbie Whitehead of Cordele; his children, Tom Ray (Rena) of Cordele, Chris Ray (Jimeah) of Adel and Celeste Whitehead Jenkins (Jenni Jenkins) of Tallahassee; his siblings, Wendell Whitehead (Luanne) of Eastman and Charlotte Aldrich of Dublin; and his grandchildren, Carley Ray, Rachel Ray, Emily Seago (Jordan), Jonathan Ray and Ethan Ray.
