He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Eugene Wilkerson and Nenoia Laverne Blackstock Wilkerson; and his close friend Gordon. He is survived by: his fiancée Judy Johnson; his son Newton Dwayne Wilkerson, Jr. (Susan Wilkerson) of Americus; his siblings, Scottie (Kay Wilkerson) of Sycamore, Peggy Malone (Leo Wilson), Phyllis (Bill Ellis) and Michelle (Robin Bowser); his grandchildren, Aaron 'Red West, Destin Engel and Skyler Pemberton; and also Storm.
