He is survived by: his wife Joyce Varnadoe Fitzgibbons of Cordele; his children, Lea, Pete Donaldson of Albany, Pat F. Fitzgibbons of Cordele, Joy of Cordele, Billy Adams of Cordele, Mary, Bob Williams of Franklin, NC, Lydia, John of Cordele, Becky Fitzgibbons of Cordele, James of Cordele and Jill Fitzgibbons of Cordele; and his grandchildren, Brooke Hixon, Holly Strickland, Brent Hixon, Jason Adams, Dr. Angela Adams, Christine Hanavan, Katy Franks and Jack Fitzgibbons. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
