Ruby Hughes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Hughes of Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on April 30, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Harris and Ruby Nipper Harris; and her husband Lanier "Buddy" Hughes. She is survived by: her sons, Mike Hughes of Blackshear and Rick Hughes of Cordele; her sisters, Mary Ethel Bailey of Sylvester, Betty Smith of Sylvester, Clara Dunbar of Vienna and Brenda Ruff (Roger) of Cobb; her grandchildren, Amy Teston (Ray), Michael Hughes Jr. (Emily), Jenn Averill (John John) and Clint Hughes (Rachael Hughes); and her great grandchildren, Landon Teston, Beau Teston, Sam Hughes, Sawyer Hughes, Bailey Grace Averill, John Monta Averill, IV and Novalee Hughes.
