It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vanneece Nelms Brooks (Cordele, Georgia), born in Sylvester, Georgia, who passed away on April 25, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Olon L. Nelms; and her brother Hoyt D. Nelms. She is survived by: her husband Craige Brooks of Cordele; her son Cullen Brooks of Roswell, GA; her mother Beckie Johnson Nelms of Worth County; her siblings, Gary Nelms of Bartow, FL, Karen Jordan (Kenny) of Lakeland, FL and Sandra Denton (Scottie) of Worth County; and her parents-in-law, Celia and Floyd Brooks of Worth County. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
