It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola C. Mathis (Cordele, Georgia), born in Vienna, Georgia, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wallace Mathis and Earnestine Billings Mathis; her daughters, Avious Bolden (Kerry) of Vienna, Georgia and Lareader Cooper (Curtis) of Vienna, Georgia; her grandchildren, Latia Redding (Tiyanna) of Killeen, Kanesha Cooper of Vienna, Markevious Bolden of Vienna, Jarkevious Bolden of Vienna, Kersheka Bolden of Vienna and Kerry M. Bolden of Cordele, Georgia; her close friend Milton Simpkin of Vienna, Georgia; and her siblings, Laverne Smith of Vienna, Georgia, Kenneth Mathis (Rutine) of Vienna, Georgia and Larry Mathis of Vienna, Georgia. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
