He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jordan Forrest and Pearline Selph Forrest; his son Jeff Forrest; his grandsons, Scott Crossfield, Jeffrey Forrest, Christopher Forrest and Adam Forrest; and his brother Rev. Billy Forrest.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hodge Forrest of Cordele; his children, Brenda Heimberger of Anderson, S. C., Terry Forrest (Eulene), Melinda Roebuck (Gene) of Bethlehem and Becky Forehand (Scott) of Cordele; his stepson Jeff Bodrey (Paige) of Cordele; and his brother Kenneth Forrest of Tallahassee, Fla.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
