He was predeceased by : his wife Penny Quarles; his parents, Clinton Sr. Quarles and Essie Mae Quarles; and his siblings, Martha Sue Quarles, Hoyt James Quarles, Mary Lou Quarles Welch, Eloise Quarles Cartwright and Sarah Ruth Quarles.

He is survived by : his children, Clinton "Tootie" Quarles, Heath Shandon Quarles and Elizabeth "Libby" Quarles; his grandchildren, Saralynn, Gunnar Quarles, Dayton Dakota Quarles, Kyler, Logan and Kohl Morrison; and his great grandchild Parker Lee Quarles. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
