He was predeceased by : his wife Katherine Stewart Allen; and his parents, Edward R. "Bob" Allen and Helen Piquette Allen. He is survived by : his son Dennis R. Allen (Diane); his grandchildren, Cheryl Allen Rhodes (Ryan), Ashley Allen Johnston (Matt) and Bryan Allen (Catherine); and his great grandchildren, Morgan Johnston, Blake Johnston, Emme Allen, Millie Allen, Avery Rhodes and Maverick Duwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #8, 141 Commerce Street, Crawfordville, Georgia 30631.
