It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Thomas of Crescent, Georgia, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Hayden and Bessie Mae Hope Thomas of Crescent; his wife Ouida Williams Thomas; and his siblings, Charles Thomas, Marion Thomas, Harry Thomas, Alma Ruth Jackson and Margie Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Thomas (Hannah) of Crescent, Billie Jo Spratlin (Scott) of Graham, AL, John Thomas (Misty) of Crescent, Adam Thomas of Crescent and Jeannie Thomas of Crescent; his stepchildren, Jonathan Rozier of Townsend and Jessica Cox (Howard) of Brunswick; his siblings, Virginia McNair of Dublin, Maryanne Varnadore, Raymond Thomas of Brantley County, Robert Thomas of Crescent and Louise Scheer (Richard) of Keystone Heights, FL; and his grandchildren, Chayce, Dustin, Blake, Misty, Heather, Brad, Whitney, Justin, Ashley, Devin, Marshall, McKenzie, Kaneal and Preston. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
