He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Norris, Sr. and Ethel Phillips Norris Holton; his wife Jeanelle Bennett Norris; his grandson C. Deputy Michael Norris; his sisters, Lewellyn N. Carlisle and Gloria N. Harris; and his brother-in-law Billy Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Bennett Norris (Fran) and Kathy Norris Welch (Darrell) of Culloden; his grandsons, Brandon Norris (Charlotte), Dustin Welch (Michelle) of Culloden and Nicholas Welch (Katherine) of Statesboro; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Norris, Sydnee Norris, Cheyenne Welch, Owen Welch and Michael Welch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 there will not be a formal visitation but the family and close friends will gather for lunch at The Barn in Culloden prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Culloden Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Warren Bennett, 4990 Hwy 83 South, Culloden, GA 31016.
