With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Doris Carter of Woodstock, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Hollis L. Carter; and her children, Barbara "Dee Dee" and Chuck. She is survived by: her son Scott (Cynthia); her grandson Nicholas (Heather); her children, Scotlyn, Max and Nathan (Hillary); her grandchildren, Monica, Meadow, Hendrix and Heather; her great grandchild Zach; her granddaughter April (Clint); her great grandchildren, Ari and Ezra; her grandson Allen (Marie); and her great grandchildren, Jeshua, Chloe, Luke and Leah.
A procession will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 12:45 PM at the South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cherokee Memorial Park (120 Memorial Dr, Canton, GA 30115). Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 11:00 PM to 12:30 AM at the South Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114).
