She is survived by : her children, George "Russell" Merritt and Janice Giles (Thomas); her grandchildren, Eve Hughes (Andy), Thomas Rusty Merritt, Lisa Diane Merritt and Summer Murray; and her sisters, Betty Jones and Birdie Harvey. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
