Donald Eustice Normand Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2018, at the age of 89, Donald Eustice Normand (Dacula, Georgia), born in Lecompte, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Annie Glass Normand; and his siblings, Fabius Normand, Buddy, Preslie Pryor, Annie McCann and Leala "Sis" Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Jesus Catholic Church and Reverend Paul M.; his brother Farm; his wife Janet Duplantis Normand; his siblings, Buzzy of Dacula and Cecile "Tookie" Leotta of Alexandria; his children, Robert (Judy) of Woodworth, John (Judy) of Woodworth, Donna (Jay McGuffee) of Woodworth, Kathy (Miles Kingdon) of Merritt, BC and Mary (Craig Pujol) of Bunkie; his grandchildren, Dawn (Chris Rajewski), Thomas Normand, Kimberly Normand, Erin (Daniel Moore), Nick Pujol, Blake Pujol and Rebekah McGuffee; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Moore, Braylon Normand, Cayden Rajewski, Ashton Moore and Harper Rajewski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Many a dance floor was cleared as big band tunes played and others stepped back in admiration of Don's ability to "trip the light fantastic." By the time Mr. & Mrs. Normand had spent 63 married years together, Alzheimer's Disease crept in and altered his memory.
